today must have been quite embarrasing for boro fans, they really are a club on there way down. still a uefa cup final, a league cup and a few final appearances they have had more success than we have for years.

I would shed a tear for the likes of boro, pompey, leeds and the rest, if I thought that they were doing the same for us when we were in the old Div3. I think they might have been having a laugh.

With you all the way on this Dave.........I know quite a few Leeds fans who were really taking the p*ss over our 'free=fall' for a while, nice to see the foot very firmly on the other foot now and they are too now suffering and much more than we did as we only had a brief stay in the 3rd tier and it was mainly a party time especially the second half of the season!

You can always tell how affluent an area is by how much the local Greggs charges you for one of their Cheese and Onion pasties.

Middlesborough is a deprived area and people up there have bigger priorities to spend their money on than an FA cup 3rd round match - end of.

Wonder how many would have come to COMS if the match had been played here? We would have been lucky to get 500.

Mid 70's, their 1st season in the top div, and a few 100 of the raggles pile-in to the old triangle between the north stand and the kippax, smacking-up all the old fella's and kids. As the City lads arrive to sort it the cowardly fucks turned and ran, leaving nothing but a sea of shitty scarves scattered on the terraces. While sorry to hear of anyone getting hard times, I can but hope that for some of them at least, what goes around comes around.
