Safe standing is just safe standing. In the UK context all it means is that the places where crowds already stand will be legally allowed to stand, with a setup that makes it a touch safer and a touch more comfortable. If crowd troubles happen, it won't have owt to do with it.

Is that the stuff that gets confiscated at the turnstiles or the stuff you haven't a hope in helps chance of buying if you want to see the match.

They also interviewed mike parry, what a fuckin nut job he was,ranting & raving that safe standing will cause aggro ,esp after the recent England fans show .
It won't make a difference for his team lpool ,they don't need an excuse to cause trouble Fookinhell ha!ha!

Mike Parry's an Everton fan.... His point is bollocks though it's dickheads that cause shit at football matches not whether someone is stood up or not.

Manchester City will be one of the first clubs in the country to take part in a trial of safe standing following the approval of its application to become an early adopter of licensed standing at the Etihad Stadium.
