Apparently the SPL are considering allowing clubs to pilot safe standing areas.

Indeed. But as I said, if clubs with large stadiums like Celtic implement safe standing it can prove whether it can work in English football. If it does go well it will certainly help the cause progress in English football and help the case of those who want a change in the law.Ayrshire-Blue said:Unlike England and Wales where legislation regarding all seated stadia was introduced through the Taylor report report after Hillsborough, Scotland wasn't bound by this, the all seated rule was an SPL thing not legislation, and therefore it's easier for the SPL to allow standing areas, governments/lawyers etc dont need to be involved
