When you've had the courage to stand up and tell the truth, why tell a lie to justify it. Don't give them an explanation, they obviously know what was meant, or they wouldn't have asked for clarity. Don't even reply just take it and let them show themselves up.

It wouldn't be wrong to say it felt like playing against 12, being down to 10 after a tough loss at Anfield and all the pressure of a must win.
Adding some unbalanced decisions it felt like playing against some higher power. In that he believes.
Honestly, I understand he was frustrated by the ref, like Pep and anybody else in the squad.
But being a pro he should know the consequences. If you want to be world class you have to be smart enough in every department.
