Sagna fined 40K for social media post.

Is it just me or is the silence on this deafening in the mainstream press?

It seems they are purposely ignoring it as they don't want to expose the truth of how corrupt the game is.
They make so much profit from the sport that if they did highlight this story it would start to feed doubt into the publics mind... Thus damaging the brand they make revenue from.

Only a theory, I could be wrong.

The Press might of been highlighting this but I rarely ever read/listen to their shite

How the fuck do we get so many bookings when we have the most possession.

Big nose, et all get carte blanche bordering on ABH we get fucked for being slapped.
 
As I posted earlier I doubt the comments were club sanctioned so although totally correct as an experienced International he really shouldn't be posting stuff like this.

I could understand a youth player but he really should know better.
 
No doubts the petty FA were not going to overlook It but it was needed to be said. Sagna's comments should of been interpreted as tongue in cheek but with a warning of his future conduct imo. He is going to get a ban and a fine. But it is one set of rules(Young's challenge on Saturday being the latest of incidents being brushed under the carpet) for one and one set for the rest.

Probably right,the FA are a touchy bunch at the best of times,to charge him for this is ridiculous,they must know everyone thinks the refs are bent
