Sagna fined 40K for social media post.

Will never happen but love City to appeal, ask the FA to prove that what Sagna said is not true. Go in with an army of top class lawyers, make the FA sweat, watch the game in its entirity and raise each biased decision against us and ask for an explanation. Then call Mason as the witness and wire him up for a lie detector test. Then it all comes out and more and a huge Scandal and Utd are stripped of the titles they were handed and the FA collapses. We can all dream lol

What? If he would have said, "fuck Lee, it's like playing against 12 men here".
Using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures. Im a ref myself and im always being told that someone must walk if this happens

It would be a straight red card mate.

Don't see him getting a ban, this was worse and only a fine.

Liverpool winger Ryan Babel has become the first professional footballer to be censured for comments made on the social networking site Twitter after the Football Association fined the Dutch international £10,000 for posting a mocked-up picture of referee Howard Webb wearing a Manchester United shirt.

Yet Rooney gets away with screaming "fuckin ****" in the refs face week after week
The premier league tell referees not to give out reds for such things especially to players like rooney as they are part of the product. I know this as ive been told by those in high places.

Then how does Rooney stay on the pitch when he abuses refs all the time ?

Different law for Rags ?

So if he didn't use the word fuck (like he didn't in his tweet) what would he have been sent off for?
Using "fuck" is not what the red card would be for. It would be for insinuating that the referee is a cheat and therefore is seen a offensive
