Sagna fined 40K for social media post.

The premier league tell referees not to give out reds for such things especially to players like rooney as they are part of the product. I know this as ive been told by those in high places.
So, basically, players like Rooney are given carte blanche to cheat without fear of prosecution by the FA. Something we've suspected for a long time has now been confirmed.

I hereby charge the FA with the following:

1. Failure to Control their Referees.
2. Performances not in line with that expected from professional officials and representatives of the FA.

You have until 6pm on Friday to explain yourselves.

If no adequate explanation is forthcoming you will be found to be in breach of the Goods and Services Act and persons found to be responsible will be fines, suspended or both.

Evidence is not a problem if you require any.

Now, I know in an ideal world that ^ would happen. It's not going to. But in any other industry if core personnel performed so unprofessionally they'd be charged or at least made to account for their actions.

So what exactly is written in their procedure guides to deal with under performing staff? There must be something that can be quoted to them.

Nothing will change until they are challenged.

The fact that rooney does it on the pitch allows him to get away with it because the referee can say i saw the incident and there for the fa cant take action... unless andre mariner is the ref

Don't these bastards have rules of inclusion that stipulate yer can't get the lawyers in!

Do we have a lawyer on the payroll who can kill this? Surely can't be that difficult to find something in employment law that this type of charge infringes? We moan about the club's defence, but surely they can defend this successfully!

Not sure if our owner would have any sympathy for any of his employees from Chief Exec down to youngest apprentice if they publicly criticised the way the sport is run.

You've got to laugh at the FA (or Farce), questioning Sagna's integrity.
What about the integrity of that idiot Lee Mason and the shit refs we get every time we play at home. Mark it in the "Agenda" column.
