Should have scored more, but atleast defense and midfield kept the ball well and kept their chances to a minimum.

Great game and it was refreshing to play a team that didn’t pack everyone behind the ball and play hoof ball. Made for a very, very entertaining game. Well played Southampton.

Good news: We've conceded just one (own) goal in our last 8 games (in all competitions).

Bad news: In our last 11 league games, we've only scored above 1 goal on 2 occasions.

People use to say stone need a leader incharge for him to play well,
And Dias seems that guy with the leadership.

He certainly has. Very mature for a young man. Not afraid to blast it up the pitch if its the best option.

Couldn't believe the keeper saving the Gundogen shot , that was right in the top corner and Gundo couldn't have hit the ball any cleaner..it's almost like we are cursed at the moment..

I certainly thought that when I saw Bernardo waste those 2 clear cut gilt edged chances. Criminal really.
Apart from that, enjoyed the game - partly because it didn’t fit the template of an opponent who sat deep, with 11 men behind the ball, all match.

I thought Sterling, KDB, and Bernardo (in the second half) looked shot to pieces. They didn't have enough energy to put good chances away. A lot of the team are burned out mentally and physically and I think Pep knows it. I honestly don't know what the solution is. Not shipping goals is a good start.
This crazy season is just about resilience, nothing else. At the moment Liverpool look the most resilient side but they could easily hit the wall after Christmas.
