Salford City programme!

Anyone who thinks that this isn't aimed at United fans are deluded. The title says it all. There are plenty of higher clubs that have ben bought out which a much higher fan base. This like the Rooney farce, the fergie suck up are United based and it would have been interesting no matter what club they chose to document. It's time for less bias and more balance from the state funded broadcaster.

Unless I missed it right at the start, we didn't find out how much they paid, what exactly they got for their money, what percentage Peter Lim bought off them (and for how much) or quite why a billionaire businessman from Singapore would want a stake in a two-bit non-league football club in Salford. And yes, I am cynical about their motives and their long term ambitions for that club.

Was it Colin Shindler by any chance?

Ha ha maybe it was! Every club aspires to do well but there is something about a small 'roughing it' type of club that strikes a chord, maybe nostalgia of our youth and playing at Hough end and Wythenshawe/Chorlton park?

I think their main motive is for the club to do better than ever before. Of course, it could be good business sense if they do well. I've no idea why Peter Lim got involved as it can't be a good money maker for him but maybe the publicity of sharing ownership with the ex-United players is seen as decent PR for him. Whatever the reasons, I doubt whether they're as sinister as the Oystons with regards to Blackpool. The ownership split according to Wiki is 50% Lim and 10% each amongst the 5 ex-players.

They will fuck it up for the real Salford fans eventually, new toilets or no new toilets, that rat faced fuck trying to come across as a good guy, fuck off and go and live with your family in your eco friendly telly tubby fucking house, prick

My guess would be the land.... Moor Lane is in a very posh part of Salford.... if the club are successful and crowds come along to match, they may seek to share with Salford RLFC and flog a prime piece of land for developing into houses....
