Salford City programme!

Just waiting to see Salford's impact on FCUM.
There will be a few ready to jump ship and lets see how that gets handled.

As I say, didn't watch it. Let's not forget that one of the first things they did was change the strip to red, thus sticking two fingers up at any City supporters who might have followed them. Did that get highlighted in the programme?

It did get highlighted as such a controversial, unnecessary and disrespectful act could not been hidden,as expected,it ruffled a few feathers.

BBC are so far up their arse they need a canary.
What next, Giggs on eastenders with a shagging your brothers bird storyline, Rooney on Mastermind, A&E in a storyline for Casualty,

I agree, as the link to the baconchops documentary when the credits rolled only served to emphasise.

Working tonight, and would have turned it off at home on principle, but everyone else wanted to watch it, so had no choice really.

It was actually not what I thought it would be, the bbc sticking their tongue up the rag arses.

It was very much about the club, and the people at it, and how the changes being made are affecting a grass root football club, some for the good, some not, much better than I expected, and as Blumers Bloomers says quite watch able, and it wasn't in anyway the biased rag propaganda I expected.

sometimes people have to suck up to certain well-known personas to make something they want, to get it approved. Bet some at the Beeb have wanted to make a football doc like that for a while, they just wouldn't get it approved if they went to Hereford, as no-one would really watch it in the management's eyes. Salford with all the famous rags is much more palatable to bosses concerned about viewership in that respect.
