Anyone who thinks that this isn't aimed at United fans are deluded. The title says it all. There are plenty of higher clubs that have ben bought out which a much higher fan base. This like the Rooney farce, the fergie suck up are United based and it would have been interesting no matter what club they chose to document. It's time for less bias and more balance from the state funded broadcaster.

If course it's aimed at them.

I've really warmed to Gary Neville in the last few years. Yeah he loves United and would love to see City doing worse than we are but so what? He's knows his football and seems a decent enough guy. Fair fucks to him.

sometimes people have to suck up to certain well-known personas to make something they want, to get it approved. Bet some at the Beeb have wanted to make a football doc like that for a while, they just wouldn't get it approved if they went to Hereford, as no-one would really watch it in the management's eyes. Salford with all the famous rags is much more palatable to bosses concerned about viewership in that respect.

You're probably right. I wouldn't have watched it other than it being on at work, I thought it was a generally impartial piece.

To be fair to Scholes I saw him(as a kid) a few times even at my none league club round the corner from me(literally), he may have been a dirty fucker on the pitch but he has always loved the game and been in and around Manchester unlike most of the rags he is a Manchester lad, so him being involved along with Nevile I can beleive they care.
