And the feeling is completely mutual - the fact that you have to resort to personal abuse reveals your shortcomings; ill informed, slow witted, immature half wit...................................but i'll surely only be underlining what others have been telling you.

Samba is a decent player and i think if he were to join a quality side he would improve. Good players will always look better when surrounded by quality. Playing next to Kompany and with guys like Silva, Yaya etc looking for the ball from you i reckon most defenders would look noticeably better. Out of the centrebacks we have at the moment, i think Kompany is the most comfortable with the ball at his feet. I believe Samba would fit into that slot next to Kompany to rotate with Lescott. Yaya could drop into that centreback role if we could find someone else to play the role he does.

I'm not seriously suggesting thats the way to go. Yaya has been immense this season so far and to find somebody to do his job would be equally, if not harder to do. I was just thinking who else in our team could do a similar job to Kompany. He(Kompany) is by far our most technically gifted centreback and i think the only other player in our squad at the moment with the physical presence and football brain to do that would be Yaya.

I like Samba but, as discussed earlier in thread, find it hard to believe he is a player that would appeal to Bobby.

Bobby wants his defenders to be able to do more than just defend: they also need to be very good on the ball.

Would defo take him as he's as hard as a rock and fantastic in the air at both ends!! Vinny can be the ball playing cb sometimes you just need someone to defend!!
