Sami Nasri

he doesn't seem to be running at people and taking them on like he used to at Arsenal

I would like to see a bit more from him.

Always seems to do the simple rather than the spectacular, I was hoping he'd get past people and open teams up more than he has so far.

I think Nasri (and Aguero) can perform much better than what they have shown so far, but that doesn't mean they are poor at the moment. I guess it just hows what great players they are, to be able to play at 75% of their potential, and still be among the best players in the PL.

I could run around and use the ball the way Nasri has been doing. He gets it, doesn't run at players, turns away and gives a 5 yard pass backwards near every time he gets it. Even his cross yesterday was poor and behind Aguero and wasted a really good chance.

Arsenal fans weren't THAT arsed about him leaving and I can see why. He did show what he could do vs Spuds away, though, so hopefully I'm proved wrong but at the moment, I dont get excited when his name is in the team like I used to.

I agree with giving him a chance. But to defend his game yesterday -Liverpool's game plan was to kick the crap out of Silva and Nasri's ankles from behind every time they touched the ball. They couldn't have been closer to Nasri's backside if they were playing a game of hide the sausage with Paul Scholes. Tough to play football against those cheating bastards.

The performances of both Nasri and Aguero have tailed off a little.

But, that's quite often what usually happens with new signings, they come in desperate to make an impression, start off on fire, then comes the settling in period.

They're both great players and their ability will mean they'll still contribute, score and create goals, but yeah, they're not quite playing at their top level at the moment.

I don't think it's anything to worry about really, it'll come.

Look at Milner last season and this. Give them a bloody chance.
This. He played his best through the middle for arsenal as well. Give the lad a while and hopefully with Yaya away in January he'll get a chance to play his favorite position and shine. Out wide he can get used to the team and playing in the system after that when he plays judge him

Its been difficult for Nasri to impose himself simply because Silva has been such a commanding presence. Everything has gone through Silva.

His situation reminds me of Ronaldo's last two years at United. Rooney essentially became a bit part player, he was completely overshadowed by Ronaldo. And Rooney had the advantage of being established at the club.

Nasri was poor yesterday but I thought he played well against Newcastle. He improved as the game went on and he became more confident. Yesterday was a very physical game and I thought it was a mistake to play all three of Aguero, Silva and Nasri. We needed a bit more height and power up front. But Nasri just needs more game time and for the team as a whole to work out how to get the best out of both him and Silva.

Nasri reminds me of Gary Megson.

Someone who pretends to be busy but actually does nothing.

In the recent win over Newcastle, he spent more time talking to Mancini on the touchline that he did in possession.

He seems very passive, even when the space is afforded to him and hopefully it is nothing more than settling in.

Debut aside, he's been a let down.
