Samir Nasri interview

Scored against that lot in the 4 v 1 hammering, in what was one of his best performances. Always loved listening to the Arabic commentary when Nasri scored for us: Sameeerrrrrrrr!

Those jeans, however...

Mancini was a bit of a ****, well colour me shocked.

He’s also exactly what we needed, someone to wipe away the mard arsed “typical City” attitude that permeated right through the club and inject a bit of fight and ambition.

He’s a fucking hero and deserves a statue for what he did.
We all knew he was a bit of a twat but we loved all the same.

It’s a known fact that people like that can yield extremely short term results in any kind of management whilst they bully everyone out of their comfort zones but before the resentment gets so bad that their staff stop performing and/or move on. I think often they are sociopath types who don’t give a fuck what anyone thinks. Mancini, I don’t know, something always said to me that he was a spoilt kid/enormous ego type.

Whatever, he won us the league and the cup and gave us the springboard to this era so ultimately it was the right call to appoint him and the right call to move him on.
You are right Dave in your opinion of Mancini and that he was the right manager at the right time to bring us success. I personally loved the bloke but I didn't have to work for him and would have probably had a different view of him if I had .

Mancini was what was required at a particular time to get us a winning mentality. Part of our current never say die attitude.
Mind you Pep has taken us to a different level of being a winner.
We all evolve as we go along and currently we're at a different level to the majority of the rest.

He also, tore down that fucking 34 year banner after beating them twats in the semi final, before absolutely annihilating them 1-6 at the swamp (whilst sitting in the OT dug out pissing his sides) on his way to delivering our fist title in 44 years!

So fucking what if he upset a few of our players on the way to achieving the above, he was a pussy cat compared to Brian Clough, and look what he did with Forest!

The man got us as fans, Granted he wouldn't work as our manager now, but he was exactly what we needed at the time. Show him some respect!
Bang on the money!
And Mancini was bang on about Yaya. That season Yaya single handedly won us game after game.
Mancini: Loved. Respected. Feared.
