Is it just me but it seems that he is no longer the goal threat that he was at Arsenal. I think Arsene Wenger made him look better than he actually was. Opinions?

I think the wing is the wrong place for him, he seemingly played better for Arsenal when he was in Fabregas' position in the centre attacking role.

He is lost out on the wing. We will see the best of him when Yaya is off on the African Nations Cup in the central areas Nasri shows his best form. Just needs a run of games central.

Can't be much of a goal threat hugging the left touchline. No Silva today so why wasn't Nasri drifting in more? Technique-wise only Silva is better at the club, Nasri needs to grow a backbone though and take some chances sometimes. Nasri is an easy scapegoat but he's 10x the player Johnson is and not an area of immediate concern.

NO NO NO NO. People need to stop this nonsense. he was poor for Arsenal in the middle. It was on the right he had that great half a season which lead to him being seen as great player

Had his chance today with no Silva and didn't take it. Very disappointed with his performance as I rate the guy to take over from Silva if needs be. That was what I believed the logic in buying him was but on that performance if Silva gets injured we're fucked. He is better than that though. Bad day at the office but unfortunately that's the third away game in a row where that's the case.

Like i have said many times and i am not saying this because i am an Arsenal fan but you got the wrong man.

Juan Mata would have been the much better player for you. Nasri is a nice footballer, but not one that steps up and dominates like Silva, Iniesta, Xavi etc...

I have watched nearly all of your games and Nasri hasn't impressed me at all. For the money he is earning, he should be doing much better.

-- Sun Jan 01, 2012 6:06 pm --

He was never that good for us. It is a myth that people believe. He had a great year when Fabregas was out, and then after that he was pretty terrible.

I saw more desire in 19 year old Jack Wilshere than Nasri

Nasri very quiet today, a little touch in midfield then went hiding behind the full backs and crowds of players, AJ the same, both slowed the pace of every flowing attack down every time, a fourth striker to replace he who shall not be named badly needed but swiftly on to Liverpool and swiftly on to getting rid of the the dead wood and bringing in more quality
