Samir Nasri

Most of our attacks lose momentum when Nasri gets the ball, he seems to need thinking time before passing it sideways or back - yes he may well have found a City player most of the time yesterday but it didn't help our forwards much.

Spot on mate, the ball retention is the problem, he holds the ball far to long which results in off the ball runs being made and missed or he loses possession through having no physicality whatsoever-

people stating he did better than silva, well that's grand, so because Samir scored a 4 out of 10 compared to silvas 3 we're not supposed to highlight he was shit? silva is having a bad spell granted but form is temporary, nasri has shown little, which is rather worrying........

Whoever suggested nasri was our best attacking player yesterday- NAAAAA

This ^^

The amount of times I've seen our flow of play come to a shuddering halt when it reaches his feet is scary even if there is a playable forward ball to someone else... I thought we had bought a forward thinking player but seemed to have bought David Batty..

nasri is ok when you want to control a game by keeping possesion - he holds the ball really well. He will also contribute to attacking play.

I think his weakness is that when we really need something to happen as yesterday then he isn't brave enough to run at players or play the killer ball.

I think at times our whole midfield slow the play down when it could be quicker - Pizzaro is the difference here he looks for the quick pass.

Our system works great at home as the away team sit back and we can break them down. Away from home we nee to break quicker and utilise the fact that the home side will be in our half more. Once they get behind the ball they are still looking to get forward more due to being at home and we sometimes switch off to this.

Saw it in September - <a class="postlink-local" href="http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=234727&hilit=nasri" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=1&t=234727&hilit=nasri</a>

Not good enough for us, he is a fraud of a player, can tell he has the ability but never does anything with it.

Where are those goals he was scoring for le arse? Just watched last years seasons review and he was in half of it scoring beautiful goals..

Missing: Sami Nasri

don't get Nasri at all he's been in the premier league how long?
and plays sideways or backward passes everytime
or holds the ball then gets tackled, quite easy.

and people were talking about him being the final piece in the jigsaw..

Why doesn't he attempt more 1, 2's on the wing to create space to cross like he did in his debut?
