Samir Nasri

He's a tosser granted needs to man up and show some desire. Has done nothing for us at all but he's played out of position like so many of our players at city!

You could argue he lost us the league single handed with that act of sheer cowardice against the scum. That was a massive blow psychologically.
Until that point we were in complete control of our destiny.
You could argue that but it would be the biggest load of shite imaginable. Why did we concede that free kick? Because Clichy dicked about when he had plenty of opportunity to play the ball. Or because Hart didn't come for it. Or because Clichy fouled the rag player. And let's ignore the fact that we were shit in the first half generally and so gave away 2 goals. And the fact that we were shit yesterday and the weekend before and the Tuesday before that. Let's also ignore the fact that golden boys Silva & Yaya have generally been shit all season along with Aguero & Tevez. No - much easier to blame Nasri.

That was Tevez. Such a dumb foul to give away.

At least Silva,Yaya,Aguero and Tevez have contributed a huge amount to the success we have had over the past 3 years. Admittedly they all have had a poor enough season but nobody has been as consistently shit and disinterested as Nasri has been.

or you could just say we have been absolutely shite all season, fuck me we had a great chance to beat chelsea away, didnt do it, pulled it back v united and then gave a shit soft goal away, got hammered both games by an average liverpool side, couldnt beat a wank qpr team, we havent played well at all.

Find it amazing that people are criticising Aguero. He always puts in the effort and fights 'til the end. He just doesn't get the support he needs a lot of the time to be seen to be making the impact he can do.

Wouldn't say Silva has been shit, but by his monumental standards he has been yes, but I think this is more of a case of the players around him aren't giving the opportunities to link up like we used to.

Without Nasri in a few games last season (where he actually tried) we wouldn't have won the league. Although in 9/10 games he just doesn't perform. He always slows our attack down and let's the other team get back. I'm one of the last to openly criticise our own players but I definitely want to see him gone in summer, never been sure on him since he arrived.

Tevez obviously has bigger concerns than winning the league and I think he has a poor attitude that affects the rest of the team, so I think it's time we parted ways.

What our team needs is a serious freshening up because we have become too stale and other teams have sussed us out.

Sometimes I still can't believe we have such special players as David Silva and Sergio Aguero playing for us, but if they've got uninterested players (the likes of Nasri) around them, then they won't shine.

Yesterday from the word 'go' most of the team looked uninterested and dismayed by the fact we had a very make-shift defence without the leadership of Kompany. This tells us there's something very wrong and needs sorting, we just need to put our finger on what it actually is.

City fans always have to have a whipping boy and now Mario has gone it looks like its Samri who has edged the battle with Javi Garcia

Both of them would be far better with support

In the past its been Edgehill and even Shaun Goater

I'm not a Nasri fan but we do need some balance here. We are second to United because they are better than us this season, that's how Leagues work. He would not play badly if he did not get selected, that's the managers decision. He's probably a lot better than we have seen but not suited by our style of play. That, again, is up to the manager to develop a pattern of play and sign players that fit into it. Surely all anyone needs to do to assess a transfer target is to read that teams forums. The fans are very rarely wrong. Adebayor and Nasri were easy to bypass, Rodwell and Santa Cruz also had black marks against them for other reasons. Looking on our forum it's obvious that most fans rate Zaba, Kompany, Clichy, Kun and Silva. Possibly Milner. Everyone else has detractors. Basically any of those would be good signings for anyone.

It's really simple math actually. We fans aren't complex creatures. Whether you are shite or not, give 110% and we will love you.

Mercenary tosser

Can't say I've seen a single game where he has put in a great performance. 1 goal and 3 assists in the PL this season says it all really.

Hope he goes in the summer and we sign someone who puts in a good shift on a consistent basis and more importantly actually gives a shit about the club

This x 1000.
That lad is the epitome of the smugness this new generation of french players seams to be made of : Nasri, Benzema, same lazy asses.

Been carried since the first game of the season. I would seriously contemplate giving Sinclair a run out over him.

I would drop Dzeko.

At the moment we are caught between two stools. Wing play and playing through Silva

Whenever the game doesn't work, we take off SIlva and go to plan b which is raid down the wings and cross for Dzeko

We need to know what we are doing and stick with it. Play through Nasri and Silva. And on to Aguero with maybe Milner arriving late in the box like Lampard and Gerrard do.

Can not continue with what we are doing now as it's not working and the manager is obviously losing faith in the players ability to do what they did last season

If you're pulling him up for lack of goals / games played this season, then let's have a look at how many the rest of midfield are contributing.

But having a dig calling him mercenary??
Yeah, along with all the other player at the club then.
How many of our squad actually care about the club?

The problems are bigger than one individual

-- Sun Feb 10, 2013 3:50 pm --

Are they gonna be poised for the next 4 months?! Strange timing

Nasri has been poor this season and he needs to step his game up or he will be gone. He links up well with Tevez but for the money we spent on him he should be offering much more to the team
