Are you mad we were never going to sell Tevez for anywhere near that amount.M24 Citizen said:Didsbury Dave said:That would be a sensational piece of business for city.BlueMoonoverUS said:@DeadlineDayLive: AS Monaco are poised to make a joint £35m offer for Manchester City's Samir Nasri and Carlos Tevez. I'd be happy with £40m for both of them considering Carlos himself last year could have gone for £30m/£35m.

Ridiculous argument. Tevez did give away a needless free kick but at least he was tracking back and trying to win the ball.Prestwich_Blue said:You could argue that but it would be the biggest load of shite imaginable. Why did we concede that free kick? Because Clichy dicked about when he had plenty of opportunity to play the ball. Or because Hart didn't come for it. Or because Clichy fouled the rag player. And let's ignore the fact that we were shit in the first half generally and so gave away 2 goals. And the fact that we were shit yesterday and the weekend before and the Tuesday before that. Let's also ignore the fact that golden boys Silva & Yaya have generally been shit all season along with Aguero & Tevez. No - much easier to blame Nasri.Burtonblue said:You could argue he lost us the league single handed with that act of sheer cowardice against the scum. That was a massive blow psychologically.
Until that point we were in complete control of our destiny.
If we get anywhere near £20m for nasri then we are getting a brilliant deal for him. I can't see any club being incompetent enough to spend that on him. We paid way over the odds and I'm sure he's way overpaid, so we will do very well indeed to get shut at all. Personally I'd be surprised of we got £20m for the pair, given their wages and poor form.Strangeways said:M24 Citizen said:Didsbury Dave said:That would be a sensational piece of business for city.

If Tevez goes, I don't see us getting more than £10M for him, and if we get anywhere close to £20M for Nasri after the season he has had, our negotiating team should get a medal.
