He's doing his first interview on french TV since the Euro. Some interesting stuff.

- His bad season mainly caused by the french media witch hunt after the Euro.
- Think Wenger would have helped him if he was his coach (implying Mancini didn't).
- Would'nt mind a punch fron Mancini, but shouldn't talk about it to the press.
- No contact with PSG nor Monaco

Just listening to Talksport they were onto it straight away. I haven't seen it but if what they are saying is true, I wish our players would keep their own council. I understand that he may prefer Wengers management style but does he really need to wax lyrical to the press. I don't understand why they do it, do players think it won't be reported over here.

They do it when they do want it reporting over here, it's all a game at the end of the day.

He wants out from us and this is the start.

Sorry Nasri lovers, but his answers here (if true of course) smack of one thing - he is as much of a shithouse off the pitch as he is on it.

Blaming his bad season on the fact that the French Media have questioned him after the Euros???????? Man up you soft arse.

Only player out of our core team that I wouldn't mind seeing the back of... And I'm pretty tolerant of anyone in a city shirt. He wouldn't have a winners medal if he'd stayed at arsenal with cuddly wenger would he.

From the Guardian:

Manchester City's Samir Nasri says Stan Kroenke forced Arsenal to sell

• Midfielder says Arsène Wenger had to listen to offers for him
• Nasri rebuffs Roberto Mancini's comments about his form

Samir Nasri said he was 'aware I have not had a good season' after Manchester City's manager, Roberto Mancini, criticised his performances.

Samir Nasri has claimed Arsène Wenger was forced to sell him to Manchester City in the summer of 2011 by the club's owner, Stan Kroenke. The Frenchman, who moved to City in a £24m move, also rejected Roberto Mancini's suggestion that he has been training at only "50%" this season.

Speaking on beIN Sport, a French TV station, Nasri said: "I don't regret leaving Arsenal. I won the league while Arsenal have difficulty finishing fourth."

His claim that Wenger had to listen to offers for him due to pressure from Kroenke directly contradicts the Arsenal manager's repeated stance that he is in sole control of transfers at the club and that he is not working under any financial constraints. "Wenger told me that, if Cesc [Fàbregas] left, I would stay but Kroenke wanted the money. The coach told me we'll only take Gervinho, Cesc was already gone, I had only one year left so I decided to leave," Nasri said. Gervinho joined the same summer in which Nasri and Fàbregas, who went to Barcelona, departed.

Nasri was an integral member of last season's title-winning City team. This season the midfielder has been disappointing and after a rare man-of-the-match display in Saturday's 4-0 victory over Newcastle United at the Etihad Stadium, Mancini joked about his frustration at the 25-year-old.

The Italian said: "I would like to give him a punch, because a player like him should play like this always. I can't understand [why] sometimes a player with his quality doesn't play like today every game," the manager said.

With City 15 points behind Manchester United in a title defence that is all but mathematically over, Mancini mentioned that he believed that, on occasion, players think it is "enough to play 50%".

But Nasri said: "I am aware that I have not had a good season. There are many reasons. But when Mancini said that I'm training at 50%, this is not true. I felt comfortable against Newcastle. It's been a while since I felt good. I do not have regrets, I do not regret joining Manchester City. I want to play and perform. My departure from Arsenal was purely for sporting reasons."

Nasri spent three years at Arsenal and he said Wenger was the manager with the greatest influence on his career. "Wenger is the best coach I've worked with. I only regret not having more discussions with Arsène Wenger when I left," Nasri said. "He's the one who understood me the most and made me the player I am. I'm thankful."

He has the arsenal mentality, soft and cuddles not the fight to the end spirit of a champion. He has a great talent but not the right attitude. If he wants hand holding and cups of tea he can go back.Ive got a bigger pair than he has

The Mail really don't like us do they? It's a bigger rag zine than the rags' matchday programme.

Their headline:

"You're a liar! Nasri hits back at Mancini and praises former manager Wenger as his best-ever boss in further snub"

vs. The Guardian's headline:

"Nasri: Kroenke forced Arsenal to sell"

vs. The Mirror's headline:

"Cash in: Arsenal sold me because Kroenke wanted the money, claims ex-Gunners star Nasri"

He's still got a flat in that there big London City. He was talking to a couple of my partners about having an aquarium put in so he must be thinking about sticking around. But then again it means nothing to footballers buying something one day and getting rid the very next.

Well that'll be Nasri gone in the summer then. It's a shame because clearly he's very talented, but hasn't the right attitude or application. Hope we get a good fee for him.

Mancini is Right he is lazy and has every right to say that ! Good Bye Samir big fee please and move on to someone who is interested in playing for us..

The cowardless way you lost us the derby will some you up to me!

“If I’d worked with Wenger at Manchester City, maybe I would have avoided some problems.”

There's really no way to spin that quote, that is suicide for Nasri at City, surely.
