Unless anyone thinks Samir is dropping from £160k a week to £70k out of charity.

Sam(goal) has mentioned we saving around 10mil in wages over the last 2 years of his contract, so I would guess Nasri's new club got him on a free transfer but will pay most of his wages so he's off our books....

Wish him well but a frustrating player. All the talent in the world , his personality I think fucks him up in terms of being world class. He could have been. All the best in Turkey Sami, you flawed genius.

Straight into the Balotelli category of players that will never fully live up to their potential due to their attitude. He could have been an absolute world beater and was at times for us. Unfortunately those times were too few and far between.
