Mancini has said we've ended our interest in Sanchez mate. Price to high but he was willing to be a blue. Pastore seems to be the player we are after now. Apparently Palermo have received a €50m offer from an un-named club

Expect that 50m offer seems to be bullshit. I dont see any links with Pastore. And Mancini was probably just trying to save some face because barca have made an offer of 24m pounds with something like 10m bonuses etc. And in a few years installments.
If that offer gets accepted. You can be 100% sure it wasn't because of the price City withdrew.

Could be but I don't see why he should say he's not bidding for anyone at this time if it's not true. What if the moment he said it, the bid had been accepted, then someone like us had bid the same? The ensuing publicity ould have made him look a proper twat for no reason & got him off to a real stinker of a start with the media.
Could be total lies that any bid has been received for Pastore though.

If you look at Barcas final offer now. I doubt it VERY much that we couldn't afford it.
They are offering like 24m pounds with about 10m add-ons based of performances.
