Doesn't really matter what Udinese and City agree, if the player says no the deal is a non starter. He wants to goto Barca, so move on.

Udinese are using City to force Barca to match the same offer, but Barca know that Sanchez wants to play for them, so they have the upper hand. This could go on all summer, but the players desire will not change.

Barcelona president Sandro Rosell is reportedly set to confirm the signing of Chile and Udinese star Alexis Sanchez in Argentina, taking advantage of an invitation to the opening ceremony of the Copa America on Friday.

Triunfo and La Tercera report that, following Roja coach Claudio Borghi's refusal to let Sanchez leave the national team camp to complete a €40 million transfer, the Barca chief will now travel across the Atlantic in order to put an end to the drawn-out negotiations.

Rosell will attend Argentina's first match with Bolivia in La Plata this Friday, and will then travel to the Chile training camp in order to formally agree terms with the 22-year-old striker.
