Rodri was brilliant in that final last week. I would not call him a shadow of what he used to be. Maybe not at his peak but a shadow? Come on.Rodri right now is only a shadow of what he used to be 2 years ago, it won't be that big of a blow. We went 8/8 wins in December (including Madrid away) with Nico G. Anderson+Nico G or Anderson+Tonali (in case Nico G also leaves) would be more than fine.
He still ranks 1st for midfielders in duals won and progressive passes this season (along with almost every other relative statistic) while not being up to peak fitness. We don't need to pretend he's just another player because of his Madrid comments.
