ok...i get that he hasn't played well for them as he has for us....so don't start him in the XI in the beginning...scary sub to have

but to leave him out completely is stupid...i really hope they are dumped out at the group stage

Given they have no one with exceptional attacking talent,they are down to depending on their team play and spirit.....and it really doesn't look like this lot have the usual gonads associated with previous German machines.

That game was screaming out for someone to get in behind and have a go at the Mexican full backs. Muller has the pace of a Micra towing a caravan and plays on the wing.

Tis true, but today they looked very imbalanced and at times all over the shop. Usually they are so organised as a team
and make it look like they have 13+ players.

get a sense that sane being dropped isn't seen as a big a shock in Germany than here....but if germany go out soon ...low would seem pretty stupid

Was speaking to a German guy the other night in Italy. He was as mystified as we are about leaving Sane out. I think it's a very big talking point.
