Undoubtedly the Met missed opportunities to detect the lethal flaws in his character and there are questions about the failings in police leadership (and it almost always comes down to that) but the serving men and women on the front line of policing are by the great majority truly heroic individuals making exceptional personal sacrifices for their communities.

Hopefully it will lead to improvement in vetting of perspective officers and existing one's and end the admitting of officers to fill numbers on quota sheets. Society that thinks of others hmmm I think that might be just before Kang and Kodos land.

I always thought it was the judge did the sentencing and not the jury, if you felt so strongly about your inability to return a verdict you believe to be correct then most probably the wise thing to do would be to decline jury service.

this realy has rocked me,the events of the last few days leaves me scratching my head, i have done some homework on the MET and a freedom of information request says there are 46 allegations of sexual offence complaints made by the public against the MET this year and a further 770 since 2010, even if 1 of those is true its 1 to many, after watching Dicks comments on MSM i felt a little disgusted that she was reading this from a pre written statement an insult to the family IMO, i would like you to consider signing a poll for the removel of Cressida Dick,if its not your thing thank you thats fine and i ask you to move on without comment,Thank you

Very hard to decline jury service.

Second time I was called I just told them I run a business couldn't be spared, I was exempted not sure anyone checked. I would have though if you wrote and said even if I believed someone was bang to rights guilty you would find it impossible to return a guilty verdict one may well be spared service.
