Saturday/Sunday/Monday Other Games

Damn shame Stoke won even though I've no time for Twitcher. Really wanted Pulis and his dogshite clod hoppers gone forever. Looks like it's between Wigan and Villa to finish above the bottom 3.

I really wanted Stoke to lose as well, don't want them in the PL..Arsenal pulled a scrappy win too, Fulham down to 10 men after just 12 minutes and they were still bad. It's looking increasingly likely now that they will get a top 4 spot.

If wigan know they are going down come wembly day then it will be their best team and maximum effort.we should win but it may not be easy

I doubt anything will be decided by then. There are two games afterwards, one of which is Wigan v Villa

Best scenario for us is that Wigan are embroiled in a relegation scrap and have to rest players for their game at Arsenal on Tuesday the 14th May. 90 or 120 minutes at Wembley could kill their chances at Arsenal. Remember how we were at home to Wigan after they had one days extra rest. Staying in the Premiership is far more important to Wigan that the FA Cup.

Spot on. If they still have their PL fate in their own hands, I'm pretty sure that the league would be their number one priority. For financial reasons alone, if not anything else.

hartlepool 1 v 1 brentford

from a goal down brentford go in level, a win would put them second with one game left
If they win or draw, they go into next week's game against Doncaster (their rivals for that second spot) needing a win to guarantee promotion. Er, I think!

now i didn't realise it was Doncaster they are playing next week

it will be a winner takes all game

If Uwe's boys score, they'll need a draw in their last game against Doncaster. Not much time left but if they score and win by a one goal margin, both Brentford and Donaster will have the same goal difference (+17) with Brentford +1 on goals scored.
Does it count when there are two teams with the same goal difference?
