Time difference will have little effect.Destined to fail. Will never be able to support itself, because no matter who they buy no one wants to watch Al-Shassim v Al-Abdul. Time zones also represent an issue, when its day time in Saudi Arabia, its the early hours of the morning in Europe. No mass market western country is going to watch Saudi football. The Saudi League will also need to pay, double, triple, quadruple, the salaries the European clubs play. Add the two together and there is a massive black financial hole that needs to be filled, likely by the state.
Its such a fallacy and only a lunatic drunk on power would think it will be a major success. Reminds of the story were the old North Korean Kim wanted to host a kind of Olympic games in 1988 to 'draw attention away from the Seoul Olympics in 1988 to embarrass South Korea'. Of course no one gave a toss about some North Korean athletes competing enough to not watch the Seoul Olympics. Bin Salman is a wally for thinking this will have a happy ending. This is why governments and states that dont have a meritocracy are forever in the bin.
All this does is represent a time for European clubs to milk some naive Saudi's and hustle them for their money.
Saudi Arabia is 2/3 ahead in the UK and 1/2 ahead in central Europe. So if a game kicks off at 9pm it'll be 6/7pm here or 7/8 in Europe
