Threats by disgruntled JamRags to remove the TCO banner by force if necessary.

The start of Endgame Moyes ?

Been reading about this, and the flag owners say it's not true, but other fans are threatening to take it down anyway.. could turn ugly in front of the TV camera's. haha

Here's hoping for a scraped win tonight

Please tell me you are joking here?
Leaving aside the unpalatable fact of actually wanting the rags to win any game, ever, why the fuck would you want them to progress further in Europe than we did, with the unlikely but not impossible chance of them bumbling their way through and winning the fucking thing?
We have a derby game coming up - going out of Europe, and the resulting infighting and recriminations will play havoc with their morale.
Moyes has come out and stated that he will be given time, even if, (when), they lose tonight.
Wanting a rags win tonight just doesn't compute for me.
Well if you'd read the rest of my post you'd see that I want them to have just enough hope of turning it around to retain Moyes for next season, especially to (mis)spend their 'war chest' during the summer. Logic says he should go, sentiment, deference and 'tradition' say he needs time. I don't know what United's management will do (bearing in mind also that Woodward is as useful as a chocolate teapot), but I want Moyes to linger there a while longer to completely drag them down into the dirt and if the price of that is progression past Olympiakos (ffs!) then I'm OK with that. No way will they win the CL. Are you joking?! Highly likely to be smashed by a big club in the next round. On form we should smash them anyway, no matter what their morale.

Noone saying that Moyes' position is safe and he will be given time means anything in reality.

I'm with nijinsky on this one. Get beat tonight and it will further damage their morale ahead of the Derby and at the same time eliminate the possibility that they could do a Chelsea.
Win on aggregate tonight and then beat the Hammers and they could be in a buoyant mood for the Derby. Unfortunately I think this is the most likely outcome which means we will have to be at our best to beat them on the night.

I kind of want them to win 3-1, It'll hurt the most.

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

I have invited over my twat of Rag Neighbour round to watch the match later i am looking forward to it imensely. I predict Davey's boys will bravely attempt to overcome insurmountable odds, fail but claim the moral victory.

I am fully on-board with this campaign if i can do anything to help just say the word.

Do you know who they are playing?

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

What about the banner? Is is gone or not? We need to know this at SOD HQ.

My understanding is it's still there but there is a faction who are threatening to remove it if they lose.
The guys who put it there "Streford End Flags" are refusing to remove it at this stage but "Red Issue"
want it taken down. It could be very interesting if they are getting tonked.

Sacking Moyesy will tarnish Fergie's reputation.

Even THEY won't be tonked tonight. Greeks are not good here. But this will save our Dave's banner.

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

The Greeks were almost as bad as the rags in the first leg and they had no fitness. The rags were all over them in the last 10 mins.

If rags play at tempo they could actually win the tie. I don't think unless they get the sort of ref we have in Europe they'll get enough goals though.

Rags to win 2-1 and davey to moan about fine margins and bad luck.

Early goal, I. The first ten minutes, for Olympiacos will kill the rags and set the fans against them.... roll on 19:45.
You seem to forget; we need the rags to win, for the good of the #SOD campaign. I'm dusting off my green and gold scarf and having a nice cup of coffee out of my commemorative '99 treble winners mug as I speak. Er; type.

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

0-0 would be a remarkable achievement for Dave, in this season of transition.

All the talk about 'results being poor' is ridiculous.

Dave is in incredible form where it really counts - the press conferences.

A giant amongst men.

Me too. I swear some people don't really want to save our Dave at all, sometimes.

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

There's a big difference in wanting them to beat our title rivals and wanting them to progress in Europe. I hope they get fucking humiliated.

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

I think he's doomed. The Glazers have flown in to watch tonight apparently.

I just hope he can hold on until Tuesday so we can smash the fuckers. It would be a setback if they sacked him before Tuesday.
