That's the kind of baseless comment that makes this thread a joke.
He made an error against Swansea, and one against Spurs. He's played how many other games and I can't think of any big mistake? People focus on what they want, and they want to believe that Savic has played 3 times for us.

He made an error for the national team a couple weeks ago. He made so many errors against Liverpool he was subbed at half, that was after giving away the penalty in the first leg that saw us out.

He's made 12 appearances for us, what about the other 8, where he defended solidly for the most part, he's just 21 and we're writing him off. And there people go again, Savic didn't get us knocked out, a terrible performance did.

I wonder if he'd get this much faith if he came through our precious academy.

If he came through the academy he would still be playing at the academy or on loan.

I don't blame him for being bad, but these mistakes should be made for a club who isn't gunning for the treble.

everytime he plays he causes a (big)mistake,so near to the end of the season can we afford to let him make anymore? No

liverpool pen?
another for his national team
watch him make another next week but its okay, not like we are trying to win the league or anything.........

like i said he's one for the future, a loan move will do him good.

Against both Liverpool (h) and Swansea he was solid, unfortunately people focus on the errors alone to rate his potential. By all means criticise him for a mistake, but for anyone to claim he's crap because of a 2 second lapse of concentration of 90 minutes of solid play is silly.

And you didn't say he was one for the future in the above post, but I agree. A loan move would be brilliant for him.

Those lapses matter when he's costing City the title. He's not good enough and shouldn't see any more playing time in a meaningful game this season.

He did NO actual difficult defending in 90 mins NONE. Just routine stuff which he did in a state of semi panic, often kicking the ball aimlessly or overhitting it because he was shitting his pants. He wa called upon to make one crucial, difficult interception, ONE Their player ran down the side of him & stuck it through his legs from 6 yards away, resulting in the ball going accross our 6 yard box and almost a goal. It was their most dangerous attack of the match other than the one where he gave them the ball, dawdled after they took it, failed to cover properly thus pulling Kolo out of position & Micah into Kolo's position, enabling them to score at the back post.

He does NOTHING, He is out of position most of the time. He fails to spot runners. he gets knocked off the ball, beaten to the ball, outjumped, out thought & out paced. He used to be ok on the ball but he can't do that now either as his arse has gone. Montenegro have to keep pushing him out to right back because he's shite for them at centre back but he played everyone onside & cost them a goal even from there.

He is fucking shite.

Savic reminds me of Coloccini the season Newcastle went down, disastrous until he seemed to learn about English football and get his confidence back from a year in the championship and is now a very good premier league defender. Hopefully Savic can do the same out on loan somewhere next season.

Then condemn all of the other lapses. Richards was shocking for the Swansea goal and the pressure on the cross was next to non-existent. Sergio lost the ball countless times and Nasri did nothing. Let's ship 'em all out and get Onuoha back because he was brilliant.

If he can become as good as Coloccini, I will cry tears of joy.

I recon we should sign that Ben Mee, he looks nice & solid, no pace & not especially good at anything. Him & Savic would be like bookends.

Every one, and he's made one error where a goal became directly his fault (Defoe's).
He misplaced a pass on Sunday.. then the whole defence regrouped.. but no blame for Clichy's lack of pressure on the cross or perhaps golden boy Micah's falling to sleep in the box.
Savic was shaky against Liverpool, but in almost every other game he's been comfortable.
In fact, I happen to think that he had a very sturdy game against Swansea.

Aguero missed a sitter once, SHIT.

Oh and Onuoha was the most overrated player we've had.

he,his mother or in fact garry cook is more ready for the prem that savic.

Sorry De Niro, I love your posts, your movies, your carpets and everything but that's just a stupid post.

thats ok mate, all about opinion and that.

(sorry i know you are in read only mode again, deserved mind)
