I heard he makes hundreds if not thousandsI know an ice cream man that does six months down south in the summer. Then six months in Asia, during the UK winter time. Happy days . Not sure about this year as it's pissed it down for most of it .
On the total value when they vest. I think that includes employer NIC of 13.8% for some reason. Why 56%? What a weird number. On the total value or the increase in value?
No rush mate but I'm still awaiting you're answer.Do you live in any 'touristy' areas, do you have business interests in any 'touristy' areas, do you know people in similar situations ???. If you do you will realise that you are talking bollocks, if you don't, you're in no position to make such comments.
It's your answer...No rush mate but I'm still awaiting you're answer.
Or is stating "what a load of bollocks" and having a self-pitying whine about your own poor business acumen all you can manage?
Ah right so you're just a mouthy prick who hasn't got a clue what he's talking about. It's your answer...
Chill Winston...bloody hell.Ah right so you're just a mouthy prick who hasn't got a clue what he's talking about.
No worries.
They have cruise ships calling into Fishguard of all places and not just the Rosslare ferry . Not a patch on the Orkneys granted but it brings the money in.....Chill Winston...bloody hell.
I'll give you an example.
I know a lovely little place called Orkney. Spend time there when I can. There's a little capital on Orkney called Kirkwall. It's a small but perfectly functional place, cafes, shops, a record shop etc etc. Usually bimbling along at its own slow pace. Until...cruise ship day. Suddenly bunting is put up, more tables and chairs are laid out as the hordes are boated in. The streets, and shops are packed. The sound of tills ringing fill the streets, money is changing hands...and then...in the puff of an eye...it's all gone. Was it a dream? Oh right...back next week.
Tourism boosting the local community.
Nope.Chill Winston...bloody hell.

Nope.Nope.
What you singularly fail to understand is the tourism "industry" is an entirely closed economy.
All those tourism businesses are only there to serve the interests of tourists and the only people who financially benefit from those tourism businesses are the tourism business owners.
All those Orcadians who aren't tourism business owners (ie at least 95% of the local population) are left socio-economically worse off as a result of tourism and I'll guarantee thats exactly what they'll tell you if you actually ask them.
