Scariest away day following City

It's not a class or level of affluence thing. It's a mentality thing.

Some people like to hunt in packs, picking on the weak, and only prepared to fight when the odds are hugely in their favour. Some might see them as top lads, I see them as weak, spineless cowards. Neanderthals.
Never once saw City do that.

Got any examples you seen that actually happen?

This fans should not be in the City allocated area. It's says it on the ticket. Always someone going to take issue with it whether you like it or not. If segregation was ever lifted it would be different.

Yes but it is always a super nob who takes issue.

I had an experience at OT, I got excited when City scored, I was wrong and should have sat on my hands. I apologised immediately. But a nutter came running down the steps, arms waving, mouth fornicating. I am sure the fat fucker would have been knackered by the time he reached me. He was put in his place by a couple of my mates, and slunk back to his perch.
Suppose growi g up in a different era, I cannot fathom this end shit, I go to watch the football and have a booze.
Among the grounds I have watched city, not in the away end. Utd(often), Everton, Arsenal, Forest, Derby, Bolton, Blackburn.Qpr, Hammers(often). Enjoyed the experiences, watching the City fans and judging the support, chatting to fans about their players.....

To be fair you can say that about every single bell end of any club who wanted to have a scrap about football. Every. Single. One.

I've lost track of the times over the years I have seen twats bouncing about, arms outstretched, on high streets all over the country, terrifying mums and kids going about their lives only to run like the frightened children many of them were the moment a copper (singular) or a group of more than two opposing fans turned up.

Absolute bellends and cowards to a boy. Very very few of them would dream of actually having a stand up fight against another person one on one.

If you want to see how tough our great English hooligan is have a quick look at the footage from the world cup in France the other year. English top boys crying and running like frightened kids when the Russians turned up and smashed them all over France.

I'll get ruined for this post of course simply because I used to go to a game and watch the game then get back to my car afterwards and go home. Never once felt the need to gang up on some frightened kid with another team's colours on. Never once felt the need to throw things at people from the safety of a crowd of fellow shit houses.

Absolute scum and filth, whomever they purported to support.
If you are that offended by the majority of posts on this thread then you have two options to take.
Either
1) Don't read this thread and then you will not be offended by the absolute scum and filth who post on it.
Or
2) Start your own thread titled" The most un-scary away day following City ".
And then you can tell all the scum and filth about how you walked back to your car and never encountered any trouble at all at all the away grounds you watched City play at.
It will be interesting to see if your thread gets anymore than 3 or 4 pages long.

In the late sixties and seventies very few away supporters went in a car it was either on the football special train or by coach if you went by car chances were it would not be where you parked it the young scallies would have had it away because you would not give them a tip.

And don't forget to take any Piccadilly Radio 261, Placemate 7 or Pips Nightclub stickers out of the rear window, and anything else that may indicate that the car belongs to somebody from Manchester. Just hope that there are no smart arses among the locals who can tell which cars have registration numbers that have been issued by the Manchester DVLA (it was just off Deansgate back in those days).

Mainly the 80's onwards and mainly at home with the odd local-ish away thrown in.

Not sure of your point but if you're going to tell me that I had to be there to have an opinion I'll have to disagree.

I have seen far too many scumbags bouncing around in their Adidas samba pushing and shoving but only actually fighting when the numbers were in their favour by a ratio of at least 3:1 to know that the vast majority of "boys" were frightened cowards. Meek as mice during the week, overdosing on hard **** tablets when surrounded by a few of their mates at weekends, but only then when out numbering "the opposition".

I've been to 1000's of games and never once had a fight, thrown a missile, bounced around like a bellend, or been anywhere near an altercation of any sort. (Except for one time walking back down mauldeth road after beating villa 2-1 when 5 villa "boys" started on me and my mate. We told them to fuck off and guess what? They did).

If you go or went to a game of football hoping for, or looking for, or prepared to get involved with, any sort of violence you were a bellend and a scumbag.

At the league cup semi against Everton a couple of years ago a couple of Everton fans jumped up when they went one nil up in our end. Sure as night follows day some scrotes jumped up (after checking they outnumbered the two everton dicks) and punched one of them on the back of the head (waited until he was past them so he couldn't see the attack, naturally), acting the big man. The everton lad turned around and offered it him and surprisingly the coward quickly backed away.

It was stupid then, its stupid now, and its indefensible.
'...but if you're going to tell me that I had to be there to have an opinion...' er yes. And whilst I agree about it being indefensible it happened and if you had been to West Ham, Millwall, Chelsea, Newcastle, etc then you would have realised that these "boys" were far from frightened cowards. By all means call them bellends and scumbags but without being there you are hardly in a position to comment. And very often these "boys" would come to the rescue of a scarfer being picked on by the opposition fans. Were you anywhere near Wembley in 2011?

There was quite a famous one that made it onto look northwest or whatever it was called in those days from the late 80's where a load of bouncing city fans jumped on a single united fan and kicked the living shit out of him on Chester road. Jumped on his head and all sorts.

Be in no doubt, citys hooligans were no different from the other meat-headed shit houses that terrorised women and children in town centres all over the land. There was no moral code involved. They were just bullies who enjoyed a fight but only when the numbers were heavily in their favour.

We shouldn't mourn the passing of those days, we should celebrate it.

I was mate. And I witnessed and heard scores of tales of united fans attacking young kids and women. I also have united mates who tell similar tales of city fans doing the same etc.
Which makes my point perfectly. These coked up hooligan filth are bullies and shit houses. We dont have a better class of hooligan. Hooligans are hooligans. I dont care who they attach themselves to.
