There's a reason for that though and if we're prepared to be a bit objective we know why that is - pundits need to be well known in the mainstream, i.e. beyond the supporter base of the club they player for.

Frankly, I'm not that arsed by what he had to say, and I'm not sure what the upside to letters of complaint are - unless the writer wants to confirm to the producers that they picked the right pundit to garner attention....

Seems a bit small time to still be getting het up about this. Perhaps time to move on....?

Like Joe Royle for example ?

You gotta be kidding. Nice bloke but I'd rather listen to Scholes.

Cant believe you would say that.

I don't have a problem with his opinion of how we played. What fucking annoyed me, was I recorded the Roma game (was at work),
got in, and watched the pre amble whilst having dinner. Nearly fucking choked on it, when Scholes started banging on about great
European atmospheres at the Swamp. We are about to watch City, I don't want to listen to how great United and their stadium, atmosphere
et al, is. It's all fucking lie anyway. That's my problem. I'm sure if the boot was on the other foot.... why bother it aint going to fucking
change is it.

Is that worse than watching it dry....???

The rag , media , supporters etc are now desperate to besmirch our club in any way possible , employing a brain dead scholes to comment on our games , is solely to get the sad rags to tune in hoping and praying we would cock it up . Unfortunately we did , and our crowd was undoubtedly below par in attendance and atmosphere , so we gave them all the ammunition needed.
Probably the most disappointing thing is our reaction , its exactly what ITV wanted , and i have no doubt they will employ another ex-rag for our next televised game , because it has proved hugely successful.
The comforting part of all this , is how much we are hurting the rags , media , red tops , their ex-players , supporters etc , it does give a perverse kind of pleasure , after our 30 odd years in the wilderness.

If not already posted, something for Scholes and Ferdinand and the rest of the anti-City mob to read:
