Schweinstiger saga...

The trouble with all this is that if the signing has already taken place, why haven't City announced it? Anyone have a clue re this?

Wasn't it Ajay who'd said a signing had taken place? I think people putting 2 & 2 together come up with Schweinsteiger.

Ajay said it was a striker

I bet the deal is done and he has signed but there is an argument re agents fee's. It is usually the case - someone called Hermann will be demanding 3m for 2 days (make that 2 hours) work!!!

Has the OP from last night (was it Corky1970?) pitched up at all today? It would be interesting to see what he has to say about it all when sober.....

Wolfsberg will already have some idea of the minimum figure they feel able to accept. Until they admit what that is, we're going to get silliness, denial and doom mongering from the rag sports pages of the City bashing Guardian. Fornicators.

Basil Pigtiger, no thanks..

And no thanks to the double barrelled Percy Swine-Shagster as well.

Not so.....less and less people are trusting the papers nowadays due to their lack of morals, ethics etc, etc, the Journo relationships are now far and few between.....Robinho was just one example of the press having no advance warnings about imminent signings and City has learned from previous mistakes in the area.

Even if you'd like to believe this I can assure you it is not true. Robinho was indeed an exception. Silva, Toure, Boateng etc were clearly not.

If you remember though when we signed Barry it was all done and dusted, nothing in the press, all wrapped up in 24 hours . Maybe the same will happen with this one

of course things like this can happen but it's rare; players, agents, relatives, staff, bank managers, drivers, barmen, girlfriends, wives, kids all talk and most deals are known about beforehand.

That’s true. No secrets in football.
