If you remember though when we signed Barry it was all done and dusted, nothing in the press, all wrapped up in 24 hours . Maybe the same will happen with this one

of course things like this can happen but it's rare; players, agents, relatives, staff, bank managers, drivers, barmen, girlfriends, wives, kids all talk and most deals are known about beforehand.
And mobile phone account administrators. :)

Hey! By the way, anybody yet put 2 and 2 together? Not sure what Fanatik is though. (edit - seems to be a Turkish football site: http://fanatik.ekolay.net/Default.aspx)

Bayern Munich Enter Race To Rescue Robinho From Manchester City Nightmare - Report
Jul 7, 2010 3:59:00 PM

Bayern Munich are the latest club to enter the race to snatch Manchester City flop Robinho, according to Fanatik.

Robinho, 26, has endured a time to forget with the Blues after joining for a British record £32.5 million fee in 2008. After struggling to make his mark, he found sanctuary with a loan switch to Brazilian giants Santos in the New Year.

This temporary arrangement is set to expire on August 4 and agreement about fresh terms are yet to be agreed. Valencia and Besiktas had previously been reported as expressing an interest, while the player had stated his wish to stay in Santos.

Although Munich are now in the chase, speaking to reporters, Besiktas chief Serdal Adali remained optimistic of striking a deal. He said: "We've made our offer, we are continuing our discussions."

it wasn't moved because he mentioned player(s) names

it wasn't moved because he mentioned personal company details (albeit in hindsight this was probably going to happen anyway)

it wasn't moved because he was bullshitting (whether he is or not, only time will tell)

he hasn't been banned and there is no reason to ban him

it was moved because it had been reported several times for turning into a slanging match between two people.

Cheers Shady.

Why oh why oh why every rumor posted turns into a slanging match is beyond me.
We are in a fantastic position where we can be happy to be linked with so many players.
If you dont believe a rumor thewn fine, thats your perogative but this is a bloody forum which is the correct place for rumors!

ITs not like this is a Lionel Richie appreciation thread. What the hell do you expect to find on here??!!

Christ, now Man City = nightmare. I guess getting paid a shit-ton of money and then fucking off to Brazil = some nightmare the club has imposed upon the poor player. What will goal.com dream up next?

He might do well at Bayern.

Which is exactly why Ajay's claims to know of "four done deals", completed weeks in advance with City just delaying confirmation to announce all four in a dramatic carnival-like announcement is/was complete and utter nonsense.

Besides the fact that as soon as we had completed any individual transfer we made it public immediately - Boateng, Toure, Silva.

How he hasn't been banned is beyond me, the man is a buffoon.

Why can't we offer him to Wolfsberg as a make-weight for Dzecko?

Sorry mate. I must remind myself to keep my opinions to myself in future, mustn't upset any of the mentally challenged posters.
