If Scotland votes yes in September what happens in the UK general election in May 2015 do Scots living in Scotland have a right to have a say in a soon to be separate country.

They do get to vote in that election because the final independence steps haven't fully progressed yet.

That's what i'm led to believe.

Think you've got it right so when Scotland becomes fully independent what then, I can see a load of trouble down the line if Scotland votes yes IE will the UK parliament be dissolved on independance day. I thought we now had fixed term parliaments.

We don't have fixed parliaments - the PM decides when we have a general election - with the monarchs permission. Once Scotland becomes independent MP's representing Scottish constituencies leave Westminster (so Scottish voters will no longer have a voice in Parliament). Scottish MP's leaving may have an impact on which party has a majority in parliament - so a new general election may be required.

Poll today says it is now neck and neck. This won't make these denizens any happier.

they indead " are the pee poll "

It would be far better if the vote casting was done by the English. That way there would be an overwhelming Yes vote. About time Scotland started to raise it's own taxes.

Glad to see those rangers' fans have really thought it through and arrived at a reasonable position accompanied by a calm , logical and rational argument to justify their stance .
Oh sorry , I meant the other thing - they're a bunch of sectarian bigots!
The sheer irony of them saying that they would go to Wales because England " just lets in loads of immigrants"
Truly a gem.
