Scott Parker

Can't say Milner was much better though tonight.
Thought Welbeck played pretty poor as well.

I quite like Welbeck as a player but today made it clear that he cannot play without a dominant striker (i.e. Rooney).

There was a point in the game where Terry, Lescott and Cole were playing it along the back keeping posession quite nicely for roughly 60 seconds. The only problem was, they had 3 french players pressuring them; they were looking for an outlet. I looked all around my TV screen and found Glen Johnson. He was almost at the french penalty box absolutely screaming for a pass. At that point my hands want to my face in disbelief.

You know Glen Johnson today reminded me of a shite right sided version of Steve McManaman. Which is fucking awful really when you think about it for a WB/FB. He was shite going forward but instead of running back to his position he just trotted back just like McManaman used to. Leaving the England defence in the shit and Milner or some other poor sod stuck covering for the ****.

-- Mon Jun 11, 2012 9:14 pm --

It doesn't help Milners cause when dip shits like Glen Johnson pass him the ball when he's surrounded by French players.

Scott Parker is the Ponzi-scheme of English Football.

Sounds too good to be true and he then collapses under any sort of scrutiny.

LOL!:)

Parker was at fault for the goal. He was in the right position to start with close to the edge of the area with an eye on two French players waiting outside the box .

When Evra got the ball inside the box Parker anticipated he'd play a one-two with Ribery so ran back in to track Evra's run even though Milner had got back in and had it covered. Ribery ddidn't return the pass to Evra and instead lays it off to the edge of the box where there is space for a shot now because Parker has vacated it.

Gerrard was too deep, like a 3rd centre back, and had too much distance to cover to get close enough to block the shot.

Possibly the most overrated player in the history of football.
whispers in ear.........'beckham'.................

I blame Gerrard for Nasri goal if you watch him he's just stood there like a third centre back instead off being a further 5 yards out! Watch him when he finally sees the danger he runs out like a demon starfish

I think you might have a point:

Mind you, Scott Parker was prancing around like a fairy when it happened.

Beckham, occasionally, had some end product. Single-handedly got us to South Korea and Japan. Now, compare him to Scott 'Bernie Madoff' Parker....
