Ok. From now on no one in the transfer forum is allowed to comment on potential signings because we've never seen them play for City. Luke chadwick? Might be good cos no one's ever seen him play for city. Danny shittu? Might be good cos no one's ever seen him play for city etc

I see your point, just annoys me fans saying a player is rubbish or not good enough. If city thought that he wasn't good enough why are they buying him?
Because we need someone like him but are cutting back way too much and settling for cheaper and far more inferior options is my guess

Some spoilt brats on here!

agree if sinclair had some fancy foreign name they would be fine and welcome him- thats because most people on the transfer section play fifa all the time

Can I ask who you would sign - bare in mind he has to be English and a winger. Also, he has to fit in with Mancini work ethic hence the selling of AJ, oh and also he has to be prepared to be a squad player as really he is looking at 10/15 starts and 10/15 sub appearances, and he has to have pace as thats what we lack.

So go on - who should we have bought?

People would have loved Maicon prior to Bale ripping him for two games, but those two games have changed everyones opinion of him.

True.

I also saw Bale rip us up at ours last season, scored a cracker as well. Bale on his day is a very tough opponent.

Four years ago Torres bum-holed Philip Lahm in the Euro Final, and most here will have Lahm here tomorrow!

No full back is unbeatable, they all get turned over at some point, Maicon is a lot better than most, and importantly brings a shed-load of top level experience with him.

I am not complaining.

Not a bad shout but how much would he cost then? Doesnt score as much as Sinclair either. And a bit more injury prone.

I hate it when people say were moving backwards cos were getting people who arent 'workd class' mancini obviously sees something in sinclair and maicon

And has bottled out of playing in "big" games more than once.

Cracks me up when people say stuff like this, as though the average man is supposed to have a knowledge of players up there with what City pay millions every year and employ full time scouts to do

If only Bob had consulted some of our Bluemoon experts first.
