Would be a great fit for WBA if it happens.

Tin hat time, but I'd genuinely like to give Sinclair a decent chance to see what he can do.

I rated him at Swansea and to be 100% fair to him he got very very little opportunity under Mancini (I can only remember 2 starts). We don't actually know what he's capable of in a City shirt.

He's actually a lot better than 90% on here give him credit for.

Also helps with the English quota.

How do we stand on the English quota. I presume we cannot allow Barry and Sinclair to go as many are touting without replacing them with homegrown.

If we replace Pants with a homegrown we are good...Barry, Sinclair and Lescott could all go. Probably have to only have a 24 instead of a 25 man squad if all three left though.

I don't see the need for a 24 man squad if they left
Hart, Backup keeper, Wright, Richards, Clichy, Rodwell, Milner, Guidetti

plus Boyata if kept in the squad

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA

From the sun.

The Chilean officially arrives at the Etihad next week and has pencilled in crunch talks with a clutch of players.
They include Carlos Tevez and Gareth Barry, who both have just 12 months left on their contracts.
Yet Pellegrini is also determined to get the best out of fringe players such as Sinclair, who has never been given regular action since Roberto Mancini paid £6million to lure him from Swansea a year ago.
Sinclair, 24, was further rocked when he suffered a blood clot in the run-up to the FA Cup final, which will sideline him from the early stages of pre-season training.
Mancini had hinted before he was sacked following City’s Wembley defeat to Wigan that the former Swansea star could be offloaded in the summer to reignite his career.
But despite his problems since arriving in Manchester, Sinclair has impressed the club’s top brass with his attitude.
And Pellegrini, who is keen to have an English core in his side, will sit down for discussions with Sinclair and tell him there is still a path to glory for him at the Etihad.

The only path to glory at the etihad for him, is the token goal every ex City player scores when they play us at home the first time after moving.

I agree although I can't see how he will get games. He couldn't get a game when he had only Silva, Milner and Nasri ahead of him, next season he could have Silva, Isco, Navas, Nasri and Milner ahead of him, and we've been sniffing around other players in that area too: Di Maria, El Shaarawy, Jovetic, Eriksen etc

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA

Odds on him joining Newcastle have been slashed from 40/1 to 1/4 on Sky Bet.
