Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

I would be the happiest city fan around if he and Garcia were sold, it would make the perfect transfer window

MEN have an article that went up an hour ago saying they are the two players most likely to leave.

I can see us shifting SS but who will buy Garcia with his current contract (unless we give him away) Perhaps he will be used as back up centre half.

Maybe we should give Garcia another year to prove himself now when hes settled.

I'd like that the other way round.

We can afford to lose a central midfielder, where as we need width.

I still think Sinclair is good enough for the 'reserve' slot and his modest wage is plenty manageable.

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

I reckon either a loan deal or he may be restricted to prem league games and domestic cup competitions.

Scott Sinclair offered chance to revive career at West Bromwich Albion after season at Manchester City
Steve Clarke wants to offer Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair the chance to revive his career at West Bromwich Albion.

Clarke, the West Brom head coach, is keen to take Sinclair on loan for the season and discussions between the two clubs are believed to be ongoing.
Sinclair has travelled with City for their pre-season tour of Hong Kong after fully recovering from surgery after a blood clot but will be allowed to leave by new manager Manuel Pellegrini.
The 24-year-old has endured a frustrating 12 months after a £6.2 million move from Swansea and is determined to kick-start his career in a bid to propel himself into contention for the England team.
West Brom face competition from Everton and Stoke City but have made their interest known to City and are hopeful of securing a deal before the start of the season.
City would favour a permanent deal but that seems unlikely as Clarke is working on a tight budget, with Albion more intent on exploiting domestic loans.

Clarke is also waiting for the green light from his board to fund a £2.6 million move for Lille forward Salomon Kalou.
The former Chelsea player earns around £75,000 a week at the Ligue 1 club but Clarke has made him one of his priority targets for the summer

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

MEN reporting this now too though WBA only prepared to take on loan. Toon or Everton may buy?

I actually think that on this occasion, a loan deal might be better than a sale. If he was to be sold NOW, we would be looking at a loss, not a big one but a loss still. But if he was to rediscover his form at a club where he would be playing regularly, there's every chance his stock would rise and we may even be looking at a small to medium profit in a year's time. And in the meantime, he can't do City any damage but there's always that chance of him notching up the odd goal or two against our main rivals. I think it's worth doing and it's fair to the player himself in an effort to get his career back on track after being wrongly recruited by the previous management team.

How about WBA give us some money and pay Sinclairs full wages then take Kalou on loan with Lille paying 50% of his wage? I'm a bit pissed off with us always coming out on the shit side of these deals.
