Scott Sinclair

Mancini doesn't really use wingers anyway so it's hardly as if Sinclair is guaranteed to start. I think he's a one trick pony in that respect. Johnson was brought on to run at tired defenders and try to create something.

I always saw AJ as a one-trick pony. Sinclair appears to be the original no-trick donkey.

I really hope he proves me wrong.

Good post actually! I probably didn't make myself clear in saying I also felt AJ was a one trick pony albeit one slightly more useful than Scott "Scotty" Sinclair is.

Give this guy a go, I want to see something different. Pace down the wing beat a man, we can only see if he is good enough by playing him!

I feel sorry for Scott, he's never had a proper chance to show what he can do, unfair to slag him off when he has hardly had any games......

Give the lad a break ffs!
The lad must feel he should not be here as Mankers put two fullbacks on against Southampton with Sinclair left on the bench.
He has played against Prem. sides last year ffs . so give him a chance.

Hope he starts vs Leeds

Same here, i hope he rips leads apart then starts against Chelski as well, somebody like him could turn this season around for us!

I was reading the City v Leeds pre match thread and a lot of people are saying let him start and see what he can do like you people are saying. And I agree, he's really not been given a chance for us when he could be the player we've been crying out for all season - Someone with pace who will run at defenders and take them on!

But seen as though he's not been given a chance here, I can't see him starting.

A serious question, has he played more than 90 minutes in total for us in the league yet? I know he got 45 minutes against Arsenal before getting brought off at half time but I can't think of many more times he's played more than a substitute coming on in injury time...

He started against Stoke away I think, ended 1-1
