Scott Sinclair

He's a parasitic leech who's only interestes in money rather than pursuing greatness.

He is polar opposite to Milner for instance, James isn't a gifted talent like a Nasri or Silva but ges determined and put the hard yards in to make up for his attribute deficit. Meanwhile Sinclair is happy to vegetate at our club and cash in his wage cheques.

We bought the wrong Swansea winger, I said at the time we should've gone for Dyer, how right I was ;)

Fingers crossed he's sold to a desperate QPR in Jan
More likely is that City run just his contract down, because no-one wants him even on loan. Says it all really.........

If Scott Sinclair is the answer then the situation is far worse than we thought.

As somebody on another thread said, Sinclair cost us Edin Hazard as we spent Hazard's Dad's cut on him so I'd say he owes us.... Big time

Very little? Six goals and 13 assists last season. This season 1 goal and 4 assists in 7 appearances! You haven't got a clue have you.

If that is not good enough for squad player, then I don't know what is. He is not a KEY player, he is SQUAD player. Those thats from squad player is excellent I would say. Very good player to have to come off the bench in matches.

And that's why he should never start away from home. Impact sub when defenders are tiring towards the end of matches and it could be pivotal (remember Fulham away last season?) Perhaps an occasional start in home matches, where MP wants a bit of width.

Agree with what you said but the occasional start role in a couple of home matches or a last 20 mins should be left for an EDS lad to fit in a first team environment, Not a World Cup winner who's best years are clearly behind him? The EDS lad has a chance of improving and becoming the sort of prospect we want to see.
Best years behind him. He is 28 years old, 29 in the end of Nov and all of a sudden his best years are behind him? Then probably Fernandinho, Zabaleta, Kompany, Hart, Silva, Nasri, Aguero are soon past their best.

Last season he had one of the best seasons of his career, with most apperances coming off the bench.

If it's a straight up choice between him and Navas at the moment, I'd probably pick him.

Navas is the appendix of the City team. People are sure that he probably did something worthwhile in the Ice Age but nobody is really sure what that is and it can be removed without anybody noticing.

If Navas is the appendix, Sinclair is the single celled organism still swimming in primordial mud.
An Amoeba if you please...

I made all the points (and more) in NipHolmes post when we signed him and regrettably I believe I have been proven correct. It really was a crazy buy at the time. He'd failed to settle at loads of clubs at many levels, from Chel$ki through to Plymouth/Bristol Rovers/Swansea to name but a few... Really was for me one of the most oddball signings in our recent successful era.... but there you go, these things happen.

The shit navas gets is amazing. He produces at least 1 good goal scoring opportunity every game he plays. He may not run at defenders like he could do, but he's a very intelligent player. Very good squad player to have.

Navas started off very slowly last season, IMHO, but produced a great run and cross for the fourth goal on Manchester Derby Day last season and I thought, at last we're seeing the real Navas.

But since then, he has not beaten the fuil-back regularly enough, considering his fantastic pace. He's scored some great goals for us, most notably in the COC Final and against Spurs at home, but more often than not, he frustrates the hell out of me.

Sinclair is not fit to serve drinks at half time, let alone play for the first team. What next, drop Aguero & bring Guidetti in? Some crackpot will probably suggest this.
