Please explain where anything of what I have said makes me a bigot
Quote:
Did I join in with "No Surrender to the IRA" yes and I don't think this is in anyway bigotted, did I try to get people to join in - no.
Did I join in with the famine song, no - but I did laugh and explain it to my cousin's wife who was standing next to me.
Did I join in with "follow, follow", "the sash" or "build my gallows" - possibly once in the first 10 minutes but I'm not sure, did I encourage others to join in - no.
No Surrender.... - clearly sung by the majority of the City end to a group of fans who have outwardly supported a terrorist organisation who have caused carnage in this country, including Manchester. - Not biggoted
The famine song - a complete pisstake of fans who sing songs about the history of the Irish famine and how Irish they are - not of actual Irish fans & certainly not of Catholics - so again not biggoted.
Follow, Follow a Rangers song not biggoted, The Sash - proven in a Scottish court not to be biggotted, Build my Gallows - again not biggoted.
Now none of the above songs/chants are PC, and I don't claim them to be, but I'm sure we've all uttered some non PC stuff at Football in the past.
And for the last 3, as I said I may have joined in with one of then in the first 10 minutes - not right, but not biggotted. If you are going to start slinging mud, I suggest you check your facts.
I think you have just answered that for yourself.....
Facts
1) The atmosphere in the ground at Celtic was friendly, good banter and us City fans were looking forward to it as we had not been before.
2) As soon as you came in and unfurled your great flag and then started singing the sectarian songs the atmosphere changed.
3) One of your group was so pissed and obnoxious and never stopped his bigotry for a momement and was'nt bothered about the game.
4) Trying to convert a young lad with his mom about why the Celtic fans were not Scottish but Irish and had no right to be there
5) You came with an agenda that day and it wasn't to support Man City, it was to go to Parkhead and act like you would when Rangers go there. Anti catholic and anti Irish.
Yes Sir, you are a bigot.........
