They endulged in mass disorder in the city centre afterwards including assaults and stabbings of their fellow supporters. Just like last year which also included the deliberate vandalism of medieval buildings at Glasgow Cross. Businesses in the Merchant City area had to close for the day and residents didn’t feel safe to venture outside.Just watched the trophy presentation at Celtic. They managed to enjoy it without a pitch invasion, and the occasion didn't seem to suffer for it.
My point was referencing what happened at Parkhead compared to what happened at our ground after the Chelsea game. It had nothing to do with the actual game. As for the violence and vandalism; if you can show me where I condoned any of those mindless actions, please do. I hope the authorities come down HARD on anyone they can identify. There's no place for it.They endulged in mass disorder in the city centre afterwards including assaults and stabbings of their fellow supporters. But I know you’re not interested in any of that.
It was a half hearted invasion after Chelsea. Most couldn’t be bothered other than tourists and attention seekers. It was embarrassing but tame compared to QPR, West Ham and Villa which at the time was totally understandable. My point was referencing what happened at Parkhead compared to what happened at our ground after the Chelsea game. Yeah, that's true. But it, for me, spoils things for the players. I'm sure they'd love to celebrate out on the pitch, instead of having to leg it back to the dressing room. The earlier ones you mentioned were (as you said) understandable, given that the title was won on those days. It almost seems to be tradition now.It was a half hearted invasion after Chelsea. I’m not against pitch invasions if they’re celebrating something special, but it is probably scary at the time for a player trying to get back to the dressing room.Yeah, that's true.
