Another disastrous performance against Rangers.
switched off at half time.
No idea how i lasted so long.
Luckily switched over to the Fulham game.

Many were leaving at 37 mins when Cortes scored which I found strange as that came as a break away after Hearts best spell in the game.

Best all round performance from Rangers for quite a while

Seemingly you can’t sign quality in the January window.

Diomande … goal

Cortes ……….goal

Silva…………..goal

Also nice to see Derek McInnes reminding Aberdeen what they threw away.

Yes.Won the Scottish Cup as well beating Gretna on penalties the same season.
Was that McLeishs last season at Rangers? I’m sure he went from treble winner to finishing third in a two horse race.

No idea.
Hearts had George Burley,John McGlynn (Caretaker) Graham Rix and Valdas Ivanauskas as managers that season.
Mad Vlad Romanov in charge.
Burley got the boot despite being undefeated in the league.
A madman but Hearts won the Scottish cup twice under him.
Beating Gretna on penalties in 2006 and Hibs 5/1 6 days after Sergio goal v QPR in 2012.
Now that's what you call a week in football.I was at both games.

Any excuse to get the 5-1 highlights up lol

Just googled it and McLeish left 2006 so it would have been the year Hearts beat Gretna.

So it is possible and with Celtic spending going to be heavily impacted due to non footballing expenses for what could be years to come then IF Hearts establish themselves as the third club then the gap will close

And before Magic throws a strop by non footballing expenses I’m talking about the new training facilities, stadium upgrade / maintenance, new hotel as well as that which we must never talk about. I realise there is £67 million in the bank but that doesn’t come close to covering the above

Aye any excuse.lol.
Even brought Sergio into the post.
Ex City player in the Hearts line up as well.
Andy Driver ran rings round Matt Doherty that glorious day.He was on loan to Hibs that season.
Another hero in that cup run was Craig Beattie. Some players not there long but Craig got us big time.
Any excuse again. Our semi final hero.Thats how you celebrate against your former team.lol.
