Is the double jeopardy rule not if you’re deemed to be trying to win the ball in a tackle?
I’m pretty sure handballs preventing a goal are all Reds.

Is Watson the young lad that scored at Pittodrie? Wears the ‘Armstrong bandage’?

It’s been a great few days for wee McInnes

If that's the case with handball then I stand corrected. Personal opinion is it would be very harsh, but can't not give a penalty to the attacking team in such a situation.

Yeah that's him. Probably our biggest asset coming through since Naismith all be it a completely different style of player. Needs to add more goals and assists to his game - he's a Craig Bryson mould and he was a player I really liked before he went down south.

I’m sure we were linked with Bryson a couple of times. Did he end up at Dundee United?

McInnes , on a budget, has put together a very decent squad. Mayo and Findlay are very decent centre backs

Putting aside our disagreement on the playing surface does that hamper you when going away? Or just a freak stat regarding away wins?

Undeniably so, but only within their own little bubble. Not that anyone is asking, but If there was a joint old firm thread I wouldn't visit, as I don't with the Rangers or the Celtic ones. I hold no interest. I think all but one live sky TV game this season has featured at least 1 of the cheeks, which is why I've watched precisely 0 live games on sky this season, as is the case most seasons. They both bore the tits off me. If an old firm game broke out my back garden I'd shut the curtains.

I was just making the suggestion of the two clubs' threads being merged so that obsessive tit for tat moaning that one team are so hard done by and the referees all favour the other can be avoided easier, it's tedious. Although understand Jimharri's reasons for not going down that road too.
I agree regarding the Old Firm thread. It would be better to keep it away from the Scottish Thread but there are still times when topics regarding those two are also relevant to Scottish football in general

I put the Euro stats post in here as it was regarding both clubs so was unsure where to
Put it. It is also relevant as Rangers recent results are unsustainable in the long term which will affect our Euro places. This will have a negative financial affect on other clubs. Europe is the one place clubs can gain extra revenue.

Something has to give in the Scottish game as there is already a huge gap between 2nd and 3rd. It’s long past time clubs put the greater good ahead of their own selfish needs.

Aberdeen and St Johnstone but spent much of his career at Derby. I find those type of players a rarity, ones who can cover both boxes equally well and still be running about after 90 minutes are up.

Nah. We've got a pish away record under McInnes but It's only really been under his tenure that there's been such a big discrepancy. Under Steve Clarke for an extended period we had a bigger points tally away, it was always my go to when some folk back then said we were only doing well because of the pitch! I know for a fact that some potential signings have chosen alternative Scottish Premiership clubs purely due to the pitch however. That's where it holds us back.

There was quite a well known player in the not too distant past that wouldn’t play on the Astro turf pitches but I can’t remember who it was

Well done Killie. Always nice to see one of the Uglies beat. Maybe they can moan about financial Gilf or something.

Magennis injured or fit?
