Scottish Independence

Scotland is a recognised country. The Northern Isles are not. Would you advocate Cornwall having the right to holding a referendum on independence? Or London becoming a seperate City State?

Remainers did for a while Bob and some still do.

Northern Isles joined Scotland just before Scotland joined with England. They were never a part of it before then.

Your comparison makes no sense as the scenarios aren't equatable. London is a city of England. Shetland Islands joined with Scotland.

Cornwall is equatable. It has its own language, it has an independence movement, legally it is not classed as a county of England. What is good for the Northern Isles is good for Cornwall no?

Personally I don’t think there is enough merit in either case whereas I do think there is merit in the case of Scotland even if I would prefer our Union to be maintained. For it to be maintained I do think the other home nations require a stronger voice and say in the running of our Union. I’m a Union man at heart.

At what point in my last post did i disagree with the notion of Cornwall?

Ahh, you see, i didn't, did I. I argued against your London comparison, which was nonsense. That should have been obvious that would mean I hold Cornwall's position the same as the Northern Isles. Glad you agree.

You need to read posts properly.

I am now at a point where everyone can go their own ways if they want.

Time to cut loose the moaning cunts who would prefer to eat cold meats and pastries for breakfast.

They can all adopt Radio James O'Brien as their national broadcaster.

So they we are having a reasonable conversation and then ‘bam’ your insecurity pops out and starts to play silly buggers.

You stated ‘...the scenarios aren’t equatable’. My scenarios were Cornwall and London. I responded that Cornwall is comparable. It’s a conversation not a competition. No one gets points.

You've got previous with me. I don't know how conversations with you are going to go.

But it's how they'll be from now on! Just as a heads up :)

See how being civil from the get go avoids all this? Shoulda learned.

It’s a situation you voted for. No point opting out of the fight before we get to the interesting part.
