Thats not how it works i think, i presume the placement of a customs border would be a requirement placed on Scotland before joining the EU.
Mibby. Depends on the form brexit takes.

I think you are assuming immediate alignment to the EU. That probably wont happen. I would have thought first there will be some kind of transitional period where Scotland remains aligned with whats left of the UK. Probably keeping the pound under some kind of currency agreement (or not). EU will come later and then your concerns are valid. If Scotland moves to the Euro then there will be a border and all that hangs off it. It is not easy but neither is it insurmountable. We dont have the equivalent of the GFA to consider after all.Really?
So no protections of the single market or customs union will be needed?
Freedom of movement?
Sturgeon when asked yesterday literally said what leavers have said the last 3 years and you and others have totally dismissed as never going to work or be acceptable to the EU.
She said that solutions will be found that ensures no hard border is needed so that people and goods can move freely.
Fucking hypocrite she is!

Unless it suits.
We are about to see a time when it suits.
The Scottish government has published figures about how much North Sea oil revenue is attributable to Scottish waters so in the event of SCEXIT Scotland would gain an additional 1 or 2 billion into its coffers. This would only go about 10% of the way to getting rid of its large deficit but it would help. Charging rUK for using Faslane would also help and if Scotland secured EU membership with rUK out, there would be a large movement of business from London to Edinburgh.
I thought we were reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and gas and oil were now not the way forward and the uk were looking to reduce its carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels , a new green economy is the way forward . Or is that not in vogue or matter anymore ?
We could power the country off the hot air and rhetoric that the SNP spout never mind the oil!
Scotland also leads the way on renewable energy ;-)I thought we were reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and gas and oil were now not the way forward and the uk were looking to reduce its carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels , a new green economy is the way forward .
