Yes, I know this season isn’t over.
But, for me, it’s already a complete success - 3-in-a-row.

Hopefully beating united and Inter are the cherry and flake on top, but for me it’s always been getting to the landmark of 3-in-a-row in the worlds most important (historical, financial, prestigious) league.

I’ve mentioned in multiple threads over the years the ‘pull’ of achieving the record equaling 3-in-a-row… and having finally got there, it’s then the next and biggest step, achieving a unique 4-in-a-row.
That’s my hope for City next season.

As for other teams:
I hope, as I’ve done for all my life that united get relegated.
I hope, as I’ve done for all the life of PL that Liverpool and Arsenal get relegated.
Lots of hope… but in reality I’d be happy with a top 4 that doesn’t ever include those 3 teams at all.

Newcastle: to be continuing to be successful, but I’d like to see some longterm infrastructure and surrounding area plans

Brighton: to have enough left of a probably pillaged squad to make a dent in Europe and stay in the top places of the PL

Brentford: to push on a bit more, and be more consistent

West Ham: to climb out of playing with relegation every year

Spurs: to continue being the joker of the league and further achieve Swales like levels of incompetence

Chelsea: to further implode under the sheer lunacy of boehley - showing that American owners are the pits

Villa: to have finally shut them up about their one European cup trophy from over 40 years ago.

Forest: to not be insanely stupid and spend like they did this season

Burnley: to continue playing football the Vinny way, that is far removed from dyche ball

Wolves: to overtake villa as the top midlands team

Fulham: to continue, along with Brentford and West Ham , as the better and more honourable London teams
 
Four in a row is an obvious goal before we have even finished this season. There's a reason why it has never been done.

League cup, I miss that bastard.

Then the rest is the same at the start of every season. Latter stages of the CL and see where we are form/luck/draw wise and semi final of the FA Cup and see what the squad/fixture congestion looks like.

Haaland will have his own personal target to top his record this year. More playing time for some of the academy lads. Ideally start to bed in Phil or whoever is moving centrally.

What a time to be a blue.

Win absolutely everything by battering all that stands before us and further breaking football and pissing everyone off in the meantime.

Glazers put the rags into administration.
Dippers disappear into oblivion.
Arsenal revert to type.
Chavs relegated.
Spuds... well they just do what they do.
 
Think your review of Notts Forest is harsh. When they got promoted they had a lot of loan players and I think only had a squad of around 15 players when they got promoted. Agreed, the spent some silly money but likes of Gibbs-White and Danilo looks like great purchases.

For City, got to be going for the 4th. That's the expectation and the reality. That would be huge!
 
That the club takes the fans less for granted.

Oh and a quad too thanks.

And if I can only have one of those it would be the former.
 
The same as this year but let put some effort into it and get the Charity shield ,League Cup and World Club Champions, then at the end of the season Declare.

The Quad whilst being unbeaten with over 100 points.
Now that would be a piss boiler and no more arguing over who is the best team of all time.
(We already know we are!!)
 
Agree with everything you and others have said on this post. For me it is always first and foremost about the PL. Argued with most of my City mates who wanted to prioritise the UCL. Of course I want us to win it if only to shut up the arseholes who keep banging on about us never winning it but that’s just the cherry on the cake. One final wish is that we get unbiased officials for the FA cup so that we can give those rag twats what they deserve. Still smarting about that first illegal fucking goal for them at the swamp this season.
