Season Card info now on OS

The ridiculous thing is that next season we'll be looking to attract another 6k season ticket holders plus the 2-3k that most football clubs lose every season.

Not sure how many people TimoftheOak thinks should be told to fuck off but you can add that number to the list as well.

Then in the short to medium term we'll be looking to add another 6k seats.

All the while we're filtering out people who pay good money to the club who may not turn up week in week out.

Next on Tims list will undoubtedly be those who don't buy a pie, or a pint followed by a cull of people not wearing official replica kit. Non singers will be next, followed by late arrivers, early leavers and mid game pissers.

In future we can have entrance exams before season tickets are provided, and develop partnerships with lower league clubs where can send our supporters out on loan to develop their supporting Tim style skills.

Its the future of football. Hopefully one day our supporting standards will be raised to such levels that the five or six that qualify will be considered the best in all the land and all the world.

Thanks Moomba

It was only the top few hundred from the Waiting list that got season tickets this month and there are enough people remaining to fill the first new stand. By the time the second end is completed in 3 or 4 years time, IMHO we will have enough fans to fill both ends for most games. We are a big club!

My reference to £500 derby tickets is effectively what a small minority of "season card holder" pay by coming to only two or three games per season.

There are a few drama queens on here thinking that having a season ticket means leaving your seat empty for most of the season. Based on the Bayern experience, only a few hundred people would be affected by the Club having a sensible policy. Committed fans on the waiting list would benefit.

I have my doubts that every one on the waiting list will take up the offer of a ticket year in year out. We don't yet have the 12k that we will need to fill South and North stand 3rd tiers, so any talk of turning away existing supporters is rank stupidity IMO.

I'm also pretty confident that on the waiting list there will be supporters less committed than the ones you seem to think don't deserve to remain season ticket holders. Where were they when our attendances dropped below £40k not that long ago? Plenty of empty seats back then that your mega fans didnt seem to be too committed to fill.

As for the £500 tickets, how do you know how many games people attend? Maybe they relocate for particular games. Or taken up hospitality packages. Maybe you should spend less time auditing those around you and more time supporting the team.

Good one Moomba. I like many other Blues frequently see empty seats near me at games. It doesn't take an audit or a scientific research paper (and our corporate area remains pretty small).

It is hardly stupidity for a business to prefer customers who might (or may not) buy food and drink and / or purchase souvenirs, compared to any empty seat. This is sound business sense that people who have to generate their income would understand.

If you are right that many of the people on the waiting list are not going to be match going regulars (and you may well be) the answer is simple. We just extend the one end until out fan base is sufficient to justify extending both ends.

We have a brilliant team who play fantastic football. Look after the regulars who want to have season tickets and we will continue to grow as their friends and family are more likely to be / become match going Blues!

So we pass up income that people are prepared and willing to pay, just to avoid the prospect of a few hundred empty seats?

Madness.

Do you also think we should take season tickets off people that don't buy enough food/drink/merchandise? After all its perfectly reasonable for the club to prefer those that spend more as you say.

We are not passing up because the stadium would be full.

No peopl choose what they want to buy in the stadium.

We are going around the same arguments and can't be bothered repeating myself again. The proof will be in the pudding in a few years when we are able to sell out both the North and South Stands for May games. The Club needs to value the match going fan above the empty seat (whether a ticket has been bought or not).

Somehow, I doubt Bayern see their approach as madness. Last time I checked Bayern were doing OK for themselves.

Bayern Munich may be doing OK for themselves, doesnt stop them acting like cunts though. Hope we don't go down that path.

We should value those that commit their money to the club. Including those that have carried the club in the past but through work, sickness, family commitments, location can't attend every game.

Your plan is to fuck them off in favour if someone that has now decided a season ticket is worth it.

Wankers act, I would be so disappointed in the club if they considered that for more than a second.

If I were to invent a spoof Twitter character called "Bluemoon Billy" it would be exactly like you.

You're unbelievable. Arguably worse than Pam.

Thought you must have been on your holidays?

Is there any chance you can stop banging on and on and on and on and on and on and on.............about Bayerns SC policy. If you're that infatuated with their SC policy, you know what to do. I'm pretty sure everyone who's even remotely interested knows your views by now.

Thanks Davs. I have had enough of responding on this but people keep wanting me to comment. Usually your sidekicks.

As for wanting to watch Bayern all season, I'm a lifelong Blue. First home game we beat Chesea 6-2 in 77 and first away beating Leeds in the Cup at the start of 78. Maybe you should follow up your own great idea lol.
