Season Card Reservations/Relocations Direct Debit update 11/6

Morning Blues,

Firstly I'd like to say greetings to you all as this is my first post - I was hoping there would be a welcoming thread to introduce myself. I've been browsing this forum for a number of years since a fellow blue informed me about it. It's been entertaining following the threads over the years (especially Tolm and his transfer storms) but I decided to join and get involved.

I appreciate that as football fans we can become very cynical and also suspicious regarding new joiners with low post counts, but hopefully I can 'earn the trust' and be accepted in the Bluemoon community (as they say)! Anyway, enough of that; I have a question...

I renewed my seat in L3 CB stand earlier in the week, however I always pay it off in full. Now this morning I intended to assist my old man in renewing his seat however he normally pays by Direct Debit. I've been reading through the previous pages and noticed blues encountering issues with signing up for DD however City have been taking the money in full. My question (finally, and if you're still with me) is has this been fixed yet or will he have to give the ticket office a call?

Cheers

Can anyone tell me how many season tickets are roughly left? My window opens June 6th (day before my bday oddly enough) so will be hoping they'll stick be tickets left then. Don't think I can afford the premium seats but I know there won't be any of the 299 seats left, somewhere around the 600 mark I can probably stretch too.

Would you like a cake or a Bugatti sir, and if you end up with neither will you be 90 % certain of not attending next season ?

P.S You could always ask Yaya for a loan , apparently he got a bonus of just over £ 700,000 for City qualifying for Champs League next season (which is odd as we could still end up 4th and get knocked out in the qualifier)

Lol I'd have to go Bugatti but only as then I'd sell it and buy several season tickets or a box for the year. Yeah I read that about the 700k, it was to do with City qualifying for the champs league though, just happened to be at the same time as his bday so they've had a field day in the press (not like them to exaggerate anything now is it?).

I've waited just over 10 years (of working life) to finally be able to be in a position where I'm not working weekends/uni/have the cash to get a season ticket, been on the waiting list for about 18months now. Be a great 27th bday if I bag myself a season ticket!

Maybe the club could buy the big wheel that is\was in Piccadilly gardens and put it outside the ground for use on matchdays (behind the lower 2 tier only North Stand end of course), and charge a £1 each game for anyone who cannot get a season ticket, so they could get on, and the wheel would rotate slowly and let people see part of some of the matches at least ! Just think of it a bit like being on the banking outside Ewood Park in 2000 when City beat Blackburn to gain promotion or like standing behind the iron girders at the old Wembley. There but not really there, if you get my point.

Anyone want to buy a season ticket for the wheel ! Your own Exclusive Premier box (with free programme and pie) and a roller coaster type season guaranteed, as the club would market it.

I do hope no one from the club is reading this nonsense and getting ideas. If anyone from the club is -

TRY LOWERING THE COST OF SEASON TICKETS !

only offering an additional 6000 season tickets, beyond that number it will be unlikely, unless lots don't renew, from the ticket office.

Haha I knew someone would reply - it was only a matter of time! You never fail to disappoint Tolm ... anyway, you're actively posting on here which means I'm heading over to the 'Quiet' transfer thread ... ;)

That's interesting. We normally sell roundabout 36,000 so I'm thinking 42,000 must be the target figure?
Each season approximately 2,000 don't renew so maybe those up to 8,000 on the waiting list have got a chance?
It will be very interesting to see when exactly we stop selling them and what that leads to in attendances next season.
13,000 match day tickets sounds a lot to shift for midweek games against bottom half teams who will bring f*** all support.

said something along the lines of only allowed to have 80% of capacity as season tickets, we wanted another ticket for our youngest, but they wouldn't sell us one, despite seats being available, so we have opted for a refund, and coming off the waiting list. I presume they know best, but it seems a load of nonsense to me, 45000 capacity this season, 55000 next season, a natural drop off of some season tickets, yet a total unwillingness to budge, no doubt they will come cap in hand in a few weeks time when they realise they cannot fill the stadium.
